Stayed here for about 10 days last november. There isn't anywhere else that I could best recommend when staying in Kep! It's strategic location inside Kep National Park makes it a very relaxing place to stay, amidst the jungle and its teeming animals (monkeys, red squirrels, and lizards). Because it is surrounded by many trees, it can be quite cold at night, which is perfect. The place can be magical even when it's raining. The sound of insects and the forest at night make for a comforting ambient sound. It's nice to walk around the lodging and see the other traditional khmer houses -- each of them are uniquely designed, all posing a rustic and authentic vibe, which gives the wonderful feeling that I am in Cambodia, in a local Cambodian house, but with all the features and amenities of a hotel. The food is yummy and is always prepared with fresh ingredients. The owner Jean-Luc is often in the restaurant to make sure each and every guest is having a lovely time. The swimming pool was being cleaned when I was there... it annexes to a pond, with submerged potted plants, which the owner said helps clean the water. The pool itself is also unique and very inviting! If you're inside this lodging, I think you wouldn't have to pay extra for exploring the national park. The park itself is the highlight of my stay in Kep. You can ask for a map at the reception, and trek all the way to Sunset Rock where you can have a gorgeous view of the town, the sea, and of course, the sunset. There's always sunset from the restaurant, by the way, which overlooks the jungle and the sea. Le Bout de Monde can be a very romantic place amidst a natural paradise. Will come back here when I get a chance!

Whoever wants to get away from the busy tourists places and yet be close to where things happen, this is a true recommendation!
In the well kept, authentic and personal gardens of Jean-Luc, one can find piece and enjoy the calm of nature.
The rooms are as authentic and cosy as the environment and are an invitation to relax.
Privacy and respect for the guests in an open atmosphere are keywords at 'Au bout du monde'.
The situation on the hill and next to the national park is a welcoming activity.
Jean-Luc and his staff work as a family and carry that spirit over to their guests.

Room Tip: The suite on top has a great view but is obviously the most expensive one.

Le Bout du Monde is located close to the National Park surrounded by beautiful trees and an amazing view of the sea. The bungalows are gorgeous and a real hideaway , perfect for relaxing and a short stroll to Kep beach and the Crab market. The staff are so friendly and a pleasure to be around. The breakfast was delicious and there's so much to choose from the menu that you won't be left hungry ! I also got dinner here and it was really good.I've lovely memories from this hotel and I hope to return in the future. Best wishes

We stayed here for 3 nights and very happy. The bungalows are so nice with wooden architecture and very traditional set up but very convenient. Wonderful area around with trees and swimming pool. We love the set up outside of the balcony. Very relaxing
