My wife and I were recently visiting family in Greensboro when we took the opportunity to hand off our kids to the in-laws and have a night away.
We were greeted at the door and guided through the foyer and up the grand stairway to our room. The hosts shared some wonderful stories about the history of the house and the recent renovations. They skillfully walked the line of being welcoming and informative without being overbearing. The character, charm and quiet of the place is enchanting. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the location is perfect for a stroll into downtown Greensboro. If you are looking for an experience and not just a place to stay then the Double Oaks will not disappoint.More
