This was our first time at Greystone and we will definitely be back. Our room was updated with new bathroom facility, new beds and with all the amenities. Our patio overlooking the stream was nice and we enjoyed our coffee out there every day. The breakfast was good, though nothing new - the same everyday, and no meat. Also, my husband walks with a cane, and we did not know they do not have any elevators as it is only 2 levels. It is not advertised on their website that I can see. Had we known, we would've had a first floor room. It was very hard for us to haul our suitcases and push the suitcase holder up the ramp to the door and come up and down the one level steps every day. This the only reason I gave it 4 stars, and not 5 stars. The staff was very friendly, the hotel is clean and we walked everywhere in Gatlinburg, very convenient and very quiet at night. We loved our stay.

Room tip: No elevators - hard to maneuver if handicap Beautiful hotel, great staff, great modern updated room

Room was below average. Bed sheets dirty and had black hairs on it.had call twice to have them change it. No Wi-Fi access in the room. Not coming back to this place for sure. Good location, but rooms needs updates .

Reservations and check-in was very smooth. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and convenience of walking in to towan. Also very nice that the shuttle stops ajacient to the hotel.

Room tip: execurive king rooms are great for those who like more upscale accommodations

We enjoy staying at this place. The people are friendly and nice and the rooms are clean. The space in the rooms is good, not huge, but large enough. The showers are also very good. My husband rates them the best of any hotel shower. The beds were great on this last trip. Flat, firm and no "hills or valleys". Just what I like.

We recommend you stay on the water, perhaps 263 on down. If you want to hear the water and look out in the town then stay on the 2nd floor or higher.
We enjoy coming back from "shopping the Main Street" and sitting in the balcony to relax and listen to the water. This morning there were at least 50 ducks feeding in the river below us.
The river is dependent on the weather. In the summer there is not much to it, but in the rainy season...wow! One year it covered the first floor walkways.
I can't tell you about their breakfast at the hotel. We generally bypass that and eat at the Pancake Pantry which has been here "forever", and when you eat there you know why! It is in close walking distance.

In fact that is why we like to stay here. It is central to where we like to go and it is close to a shuttle stop.

My feet wanted to tell you to check out the Sox Shop. It is close to here....behind the Pancake Pantry. If you at all like socks or someone in you life does, you should check it out 😀

We stayed Thursday, October20 through Saturday, October 22nd. We found the room to be very clean, comfortable and quite and the bathroom spacious. The location is good, within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and attractions. We did not eat the free breakfast that is included, the food looked good and plentiful, we just aren't breakfast eaters. The only complaint we have was the size of the parking spaces in the lot. We were in a large truck (Chevy 2500 HD) that would not fit into the parking garages on site because of it's height and the spaces in the outside lot were narrow making it hard to get into and out of the truck when parked. This would not be a problem for a car or smaller truck. We enjoyed our stay and will consider staying again in the future.
