The pottery from this shop is so beautiful! There is such a great selection, and the quality is top notch. Make this a stop while in Gatlinburg!

Every time we come to Gatlinburg, we come buy a few pieces at Alewine. They have beautiful pottery, the staff is the best (Carla is the one who always checks us out and boxes up our goods), and we usually get in a nice conversation with Robert Alewine, the ridiculously talented owner. We love our Alewine!!!!

Alewine Pottery has a very unique location on the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community trail, and offers abundant parking.

We have been collecting Alewine Pottery for decades.

The many artisans and travelers are in a congenial mood.

And we enjoy that thousands of Dogwood are in full blossom.

Travel Tip: Elect touring Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community during the week, rather than weekend.

Took my wife here and she absolutely LOVED it. Quaint and friendly. A little price but worth it. You'll definitely want to pick up a mug. We use our mugs for coffee every day.

Cute place, family owned. Much of the pottery is the same with the uniqueness of being handmade by the craftsmen (and women). Plenty of usable items like mugs, plate, bowls, etc. Lots of selection in terms of color. Gift opportunities too with the mug labels available. Nice fire was burning where you can watch someone make an object. Relaxing time while my spouse looked at the items in the store. It's worth a stop along the craft circle in the area.
