Lovely historic building with quick, friendly service but we found the sandwiches for lunch lacking ---- lacking of ham on a ham & cheese sandwich. When the one thin slice of ham was in between two very thick slices of bread it was hard to find. The server agreed and was very pleasant when questioned. She promptly brought out another slice of ham which was delicious. The owner explained that the bread was so thick because the supplier gave a substitution bread to cut costs.......Hummmmm...... but he hoped we were pleased with the additional slice of ham.
Obviously, some regular customers at a nearby table overheard our conversation and loudly told the owner how much they enjoyed their soup and how wonderful their food was. So much for the lovely folks of Silver City.
