We had again a great time at this Hotel.
The employees are very friendly and do anything for you. Specially Robbie and Anabel are great!
It's located in a quiet area. Nearby Subway for traveling.
Polish bakery nearby for bread or something delicious inbetween.
In the morning a small breakfast table is inviting you to take something from it to start the day.

Room tip: It's a really complete furnished room. With coffee and tea facilitys and hairdryer.

We stayed at Henry Norman hotel for 3 nights and we were more than happy with everything. It was reasonably priced compared to every other hotel in the city, but even tho it was cheaper we were treated as in a 5 star hotel. The hotel is unique and stylish, located at a quiet neighbourhood. There is a subway station close by (10min walking). Room was very clean and the bed was so comfy, the room had very interesting magazines and it was furnished in a modern way but not boring in any way. The gym and the morning pastries were a big plus for us. The best thing tho...the hospitality of the staff. Thank you Greg, Julian, Odain, Nigel, Tamika, Peabo, Leah, Anabel, Ronnie, Sam, Zach & Josiah. Will definately book this next time I'm heading to NYC, no question about it.

My wife and I stayed three nights recently while visiting our daughter in Brooklyn. Friends of ours had stayed here before and recommended it. Quaint, unique, converted residential building. Well done and very clean. The staff was very professional and attentive. Shout out to Greg, the doorman/driver, who did an incredible job. Gave us great advise on local restaurants, subway routes, etc. Very professional, personable, and friendly. Says something when you hung the doorman after checking out and say "Hope to see you again." A+ job. The available Mercedes courtesy car was a godsend. Will take you anywhere within a mile or so range (further if going to Williamsburg) AND pick you up. Even after tips probably saved us $100 on Uber. This will likely be our go-to place on future visits. Only advise I would give is avoid the first floor rooms by the front and side streets. Traffic can be a little noisy -- trucks hitting the infamous pothole on Norman!!

Room tip: avoid first floor street-side rooms

We had only a brief stay while in town for family matters, but the hotel is extremely well-run and well-appointed. Although I don't usually pay much attention to decor, the interior design of the public space as well as the room is really striking and adds a great deal to how pleasant it was stay there. The hotel rooms are large by New York standards and the high ceilings add to the sense of having plenty of space. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful, the local shuttle is a godsend, and the upkeep is meticulous. I think the term "boutique hotel" is sometimes a stretch, but not in this case. The Henry Norman is highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed for 4-nights at the Henry Norman Hotel in Brooklyn for a celebration of Valentine’s Day and my birthday. We wanted to try a venue that was not in Manhattan. My husband did some research and we decided on the Henry Norman. We had a great stay there – not one regret at all! It is a first-class boutique hotel with many lovely touches for their patrons. Upon arrival in Brooklyn, we called the hotel and they sent their driver to pick us up at the Court Square Subway Stop. They offer shuttle service within a one-mile radius of the hotel. And, this shuttle service is provided in a Mercedes SUV – wow! We were given Room #316, which was a Studio Terrace Room. Since it was February, we really didn’t use the terrace area outside our room, but it looked really nice. There was another public terrace area on the third floor that provide awesome views of the Manhattan Skyline across the East River. Our room was very comfortable and it was really clean. Our bed was queen size and there was ample room in the closet and drawers for our belongings. The bathroom was super clean; the shower was really nice with a sunflower-style shower head, quite gentle and relaxing. There was a small refrigerator in the room to house your beverages or leftovers. My husband and I walked to the Subway G Line several times, as it was only about a 9-10 block walk. This subway line is the quickest way to get to Manhattan. Upon returning to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing, there was always fresh water available in the lobby – lime, orange infused. In the morning, there was fresh coffee and sweet rolls served in the lower level. We could not say enough good words about the scones and chocolate croissants! So very tasty! The staff at the front desk was always very pleasant and helpful, offering ideas for restaurants and directions if needed. One staff member that was super nice and helpful was Greg, the evening shuttle driver. Kudos to Greg for his friendly nature, helpful suggestions, and professional manner. Greg suggested that we try Karczma, a Polish Restaurant in the Greenpoint Neighborhood. This suggestion turned out to be a highlight of our dining experiences. The only thing I can say as a negative, and this is really being picky, is that there was a bus parking lot across from our room (#316) that could be noisy at times when the buses backed up with their beep-beeps. It didn’t bother me at all, but a light sleeper might find it distracting. Both my husband and I would not hesitate to return for another stay at the Henry Norman. It was truly a 5-Star hotel. Thank you Henry Norman for a truly lovely stay!

Room tip: Make sure you try the morning coffee and sweet rolls, especially the scones!
