I stayed in this hotel for 46 weeks while working in town. Most of the rooms are have inches of dust in them and never received full cleaning. Ac units that did not work well. Management is awful and cares less about their customers. Pawns all compliant off on staff. The breakfast is awful store bought junk heated up. Even though the have restaurant on the top floor that they don't use. Rooms need to be updated bad. Carpet and tile show signs of age.

Room tip: don't book there unless you want dirty rooms

My husband and I spent the weekend celebrating our anniversary. The room smelled like smoke -- there were at least 2 signs in the room that talked about fines for smoking. The furniture was worn, with paint peeling and the bedskirt and drapes were stained. The floor wasn't vacuumed well.

For the price, I expected more. Then I noticed a signed that they were about the undergo a renovation. Wish I had known that before I paid so much to stay there.

We enjoyed our stay at this friendly Hotel in July whilst on a whistle stop trip to New York before Sailing back to the UK. We found the staff to be very friendly, the accommodation spotlessly clean and the provided breakfast excellent. The Hotel is a short walk from the subway and therefore less than 20 minutes from the various delights of Manhattan. The only gripe? The Hotel were asked to arrange a Taxi for the very short trip to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. We were quoted a fare of 15 dollars. The Uber Driver who turned up did not have the faintest idea what it was or where the Terminal was situated! He then more or less followed a sat nav to the destination and due to his lack of attention to that equipment missed the first opportunity to take a direct route. We paid 25 Dollars and were not impressed. It should be noted that the Hotel itself is situated next to a garage where 100’s of the proper New York Yellow cabs are parked up. We would be happy to stay at the Hotel again but would recommend anyone wanting a Taxi to stress to the Hotel that they want someone who knows where they are going and of course the major points of interest in the Area!

We live two blocks from this place but needed somewhere to stay when our bathroom was remodeled. The rooms are modest but very clean and functional and, while the specific location is unattractive, there are lots of nice restaurants nearby and three subway lines just 4 short blocks away.

This hotel was sweltering. Elevators and reception both stuffy and hot. Made coming and going unpleasant.

Front desk staff were surly and unhelpful. No warm welcome, or even smiles.

No communal spaces to meet with colleagues.

Location is so random - in a car park.

Room was dated, paintwork, windows etc needed cleaning.
