I was told by a friend that it was more affordable to stay in Brooklyn and take the subway into NYC, so I decided to stay in Brooklyn on our recent trip. I found Hotel Le Bleu on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The price was right, and the location is outstanding. It's just one street over from 5th Ave which is populated with awesome shopping and restaurants. Also, the hotel is in walking distance of the beautiful Prospect Park, Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, all fabulous and worth visiting. When we ventured into NYC, the subway entrance was a 5-minute walk away.
The hotel room was small but a great size for us (3 adults.) The beds were comfortable and every inch of the room was efficient in it's lovely modern design. I loved the abundant use of lighting -- and thank you for all the outlets, as we all had a lot of items to charge. Everything about the function of the room worked beautifully. The room was quiet and we didn't have one issue. A simple continental breakfast was delivered to our room every morning at the time we requested. I only have 2 suggestions: I wish the pillows were a bit more comfortable and I wish there would have been more caffenated coffee packets (we had just 1 caff and 1 decaf)
I highly, highly recommend this hotel.More
