What to dine on here? Crabs of course!, although other items are available including shrimp (unpeeled with heads on); or breaded shrimp, oysters, lobster 1- 1/4 lb, The crabs are available in a variety: blue, Alaskan king, snow, each with a choice of spicy or plain flavors. Go for the snow! more tender and sweeter especially with the Cajun flavor. If you do not know how to use the utensils to open the shells.ASK! you will be shown. Tasty corn on cob and vegetable included. Good alcohol menu. beers, wines, and cocktails, Just be aware, if driving, this is Red Hook Brooklyn! Streets are horrendous and the parking is worse to non-existent! Sit outside (covered area) and enjoy the view of NY Harbor.

Cool wooden bar and restaurant with sea view where you can eat oysters, crab, crab rolls, salads,.... prices are a little bit high, 200$ for 2, service included. But a really cool place if you are lucky and early enough to get a table on the terrasse

Without a doubt it's hard to beat Brooklyn Crab on a hot summer day: plenty of outdoor space, cold beer, good fried food, good seaside snacks like clams and oysters, games like corn hole and mini-golf -- it's a fun, laid-back place to while away the afternoon. Located at the southern tip of Red Hook, with a strong scent of the sea, you really feel like you've journeyed faw away.

But here's my issue in 2018: a hamburger for $20? a crab roll for $25? eight fried shrimp for $23? The food is served in a plastic basket. You sit at aging picnic tables. For napkins there is a roll of paper towels. And when you leave the place, you feel like you need to go home and take a shower. The prices are verging on the ridiculous.

And why did they get rid of the best item on the menu, the friend shrimp po-boy? Terrible decision!

There are a few decently priced items, such as popcorn shrimp for $13. And house oysters for $16 is OK, but it doesn't say how many you get for that . . .

You really can't blame them: the place is popular and they're not losing customers by jacking their prices, so if you want to have a nice day in the sun in Red Hook, you're gonna pay twenty bucks for a burger. All I'm saying is, it's not as special as it used to be.
