We have come to enjoy staying here. Rooms are very nice, breakfast is terrific. Streets and sidewalks in neighborhood have just been replaced and the walk from the Nostrand subway stop 2 blocks away is so easy. It seems a bit iffy at first, but the streets are always well populated and we have felt completely comfortable walking from the station to the hotel even late at night. The breakfast has terrific fresh pastries and bagels and great coffee, fruit, chobani yogurt, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, boiled eggs and either pancakes or waffles (can't remember which) and great coffee, juices, teas, etc. We didn't use the fitness room but are happy it's there because we work out every day and often do it while on vacation. It's small but seems to have a resistance weight machine, treadmill, and elliptical. Bed is super comfortable...ask for extra pillows though. They are lumpy and not the most comfortable. Comforter is really warm and comfy. It is so easy to stay at this hotel and to then enjoy the city as well without much hassle. It's 20 minutes to Port Authority (bus terminal) on the A train Express. And just a little more on the C-Local train. Both are available at the Nostrand station. The station is manned as well so it isn't sketchy to be there at all. The price is right at this hotel for sure and we have been very pleased with the service at all times. It looks like a shiny oasis in the middle of an abandoned street, but it really is a decent neighborhood. The rooms are neat and clean and the furniture is in good condition. There is a train that runs nearby overhead, but for some reasons, it just blends into the white noise of the room like the heating system does. The windows and walls are pretty well sealed to keep it from being loud.

Very good hotel, very clean, extremely clean hallways, carpets, toilets, breakfast room, bedroom, etc. CLEAN=100%, excellent price, free wifi, free computers to use, free breakfast (with a very good offering of food). Room very nice with TV 42", a nice toilet, good shower. The only bad thing is the neighborhood, not very nice. Walking distance to subway which is ok to walk. Not a good idea to walk at night, but during the day it is ok to walk. Walking distance to "770" is just 7 or 8 short blocks, aprox 15 mins walking - again not ok to walk at night from 770 to hotel. Overall> excellent. Nice and helpful people in the front desk.

Room Tip: Not near the train railway! dpouble window anyway, so not noisy.

Hello Pablo K,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a great review of your stay! Our hotel is small, but clean, comfortable, and efficient; which is what we hope our guests experience. I'm happy that the staff took good care of you. In regards to the area, we are located in a very industrialized up-and-coming area. Brooklyn is growing and changing so much as every day passes and we are delighted to be a part of the next big destination city. Thank you again and we hope to have you as a guest again in the future!

Kind Regards,
Nicole McLean

Clean, modern and conveniently located hotel. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. All in all had a pleasant stay and the price was right. Bring your ear plugs though - as the elevated subway will rumble by every ten minutes at night! Nothing the hotel can do about that, so keep it in mind if you require a very quiet stay.

Hello Sheila C,

Thank you so much for your kind words about our property & staff. I'm so sorry that you found the subway station to be noisy. Most guests enjoy our proximity to the subway station and I'm sorry that was not the case for you. It was a pleasure having you and I hope we will see you back here one day. Please reach out to me directly when booking your next stay so I can ensure your reservation is blocked for a room in the back of the building. That way we can once again provide you with excellent service but without the noise of the subway. Thank you once again for taking time to post a review. We truly appreciate it.

Fondly,
Nicole McLean

This is a very clean, updated hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is located in an area that is kind of industrial without restaurants or stores nearby, but if you have a car you can easily drive to restaurants and stores. It's very reasonably priced with surprisingly large rooms, updated decor and located in Brooklyn and close to Brooklyn attractions.

We found the hotel to be average but the personnel was outstanding. They made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were small but had everything we needed. We stayed in a front corner room but were not bothered by noise. The breakfast bar was well stocked and kept very clean. Location was close to subway.
