I stayed here on August 2014 for 3 days with my wife, mother-in-law, and grown-up son. Two-Bedroom House was fantastic for us. We agree with everyone else's review. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Everyone of my family was happy at this cozy B&B. Many thanks, Al.

What a fantastic stay we had. Verna and Al were so friendly and accommodating. The area is lovely and quiet. Everything we needed was in our room, right down to the little things that matter when on vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped and the breakfast supplied in the fridge was fabulous - eggs, bread, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit juice, cream cheese, jam, tea and coffee. The whole place was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable with great pillows. There was wi-fi and TV. Al gave us a map of Fairbanks and highlighted places of interest and recommended places to eat. We took him up on his recommendation and didn't regret it. Thanks Al. Fantastic stay, and a lovely couple. We highly recommend this place.

This was our first time in Alaska. We had done a cruise with tour prior to our stay in Fairbanks. We had chosen this place based on previous reviews and we must say, we agree with everyone else. We were really impressed with the log cabin. First of all, the location is quiet but safe. Parking is not an issue. We were greeted by both Al and Verna, even though we arrived earlier than expected time. The place was already clean and ready for us. The first impression of the log cabin was fantastic. At the 1st level, there is a wardrobe area together with bathroom. Toiletries, hairdryer, towels were available. The living and sleep area together with the kitchenette were located on 2nd level. The kitchenette was really well stocked with lots of food and drinks in the fridge, oven, stove, pots and pans and cutlery. If you are a chef, you will not be disappointed :). Heater and airconditioner were available, depending on how hot or cold you were. Windows made the place feel spacious. In addition, there is a laundry room next door - with washing machine and dryer. This really helped since our trip duration was long.
The downside - the selection of tv programmes was limited as compared to standard hotels. There was no safe available in the cabin.
The upside besides the great place - the hosts were very friendly. Al provided us with maps of Fairbanks, directions and tips on dining places. Highly recommended for a homely experience!

A+++++ in hospitality! Lovely home and owners.
They went above and beyond and gave us the most amazing experience in a friendly, warm and welcoming bed and breakfast.
Al and Verna are the best hosts I've ever stayed with! They provided us with so much information and highlighted maps of popular areas and dining.
My parents had a beautiful room and my partner and I were given unexpected seriously awesome accommodations!
Best place to stay in Fairbanks!

We stayed at the Log Cabin B&B after our cruise-tour of Alaska ended in Fairbanks. We were primary interested in a day trip to the Arctic Circle and just needed a base in the city. It turned out to be a very pleasant room and very convenient to the main downtown part of Fairbanks. Our room was in the Studio which consisted of the living quarters upstairs (including the kitchen) and the bathroom downstairs. This configuration was no problem for us. The refrigerator was well stocked with breakfast supplies which we really liked because we could pick and choose.

Allen picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for our Arctic excursion as well our departure flight from Fairbanks. He was very helpful and offered a wealth on information about the area. He and Verna were very good hosts and great to talk to. Be sure to watch the Alaskan Pipeline video - Allen is in it! Strongly recommended if you are looking for a nice and cost effective stay in Fairbanks!

Room Tip: Choose the Studio if you like privacy and want a kitchen.
