As soon as you step inside you are swept away to Paris. The atmosphere is just that - a Parisienne bistro - and it immediately puts a smile on your face and makes you eager to dive into the authentic menu. We loved our expertly seasoned escargots and inviting potato leek soup appetizers and our delectable Dover sole and perfectly prepared rack of lamb entrees. Sides come with the meal but for a reasonable $5.00 you can add another one or two if you desire. They are not too large but are enough to share. Our desserts were also incredible - a mouthwatering molten lava chocolate cake and a light and airy French meringue. The wine list is so inviting that it is difficult to choose but whatever you do select I assure you you will enjoy it. The staff is attentive and extremely pleasant and go out of the way to serve you. My husband screwed up our reservations (thought he made them for Brookline but had made them for the Boston restaurant by mistake). They seated us without any problem and even called the Boston restaurant to alert them to what happened. What could have ruined our evening was taken care of quickly and painlessly. Can't wait to return to try out other menu items and spend another evening in Paris.

I spent a lovely evening here with a friend. We were in the mood to taste, so we ordered a range of appetizers, including the smoked salmon, soup, oysters, soup, and a wonderful cheese plate. Everything was delicious. We had the option to try a wine tasting as well, with small glasses from different vineyards rather than the typical larger glass, which worked perfectly.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, but what made the evening really special was the manager, Adrien, who stopped by to see how we were doing and stayed to answer our questions about France, Europe, and ways to bridge various cultural divides. His own warmth and humor were a great example for how we might accomplish this.

We're looking forward to going back to try the "Taste of France" fixed-price menu and the new movie night the restaurant just started.

Very European style in the sense that we seemed to have our table for the entire evening! You are not rushed out the door. The atmosphere was subtle, the setting soothing. Service was excellent. Food was very, very good. (Just beet salad was a bit different, but could be a matter of personal taste).

This brasserie reminds me of the restaurants my wife and I visited during our honeymoon in France. Excellent authentic dishes and a wine list that are within reach of non-millionaires. The service is friendly and attentive. The dining rooms are not overcrowded, as seems to be the trend these days, so we are able to hear our tablemates talk.

A typical French restaurant, with a great service, delicious food and very comprehensive wine-list. Courses are designed to be "just-like-home". The Blanquette de Veau is amazing and the Foie Gras poëlé is simply superb. Whereas it is for a romantic escapade or a family Sunday lunch, I would recommend this place without hesitation. Service is impeccable and efficient. One have to ask only once to obtain something. Will go back, for sure, and more than once!
