Busy, popular restaurant. Was Grant House. Good food and not skimpy plates. Original construction in a wall area reveals wood and mortar.
Service can be a little show when busy.

The tree-lined road has excellent sidewalks and lots of grass to run in or lay down and take a nap. Many of these historic houses are businesses or restaurants now.

Here you can eat in history, sleep in history and check out the fort which has period dressed tour guides. Its wonderful to see how the settlers of Vancouver lived. I highly recommend it. Its great to just take your pets out for a walk on the grounds also!

Great place to go for a walk. Scenic and Quiet.
Stop off at the Grant house for dinner or Happy Hour or morning coffee along the route from Arnada to the river.

My hat is off to those responsible for the restoration of this establishment. It was fascinating to see the barracks and officers quarters as they were in the early 1900s.
