Great staff - great comfy place with many extras. Love the large balcanies, jetted bath - jacuzi - very comfy bath latge size to relax in, leather furniture, very large front Room. It was nice to be able to relax and feel comfortable after a long days work especially since I was sick. Highly recommend.

Heathman is a very nice hotel and the staff is great...but it's close to the highway and hear the highway noise. For such a sturdy looking hotel, the walls are paper thin...you can hear people very easily next store and above you walking.

Good morning Jeff Z,

Thank you so much for taking the time to offer some feedback about your recent visit. We are sorry to hear that anything was less than stellar during your visit.

We understand your concerns about road noise. Unfortunately, the highway closest to the hotel was not nearly as established when the building was erected 20 years ago. We do recommend however, that if you would like to return in the future, to request out top floor business level rooms in the newer wing of our hotel. It generally results in less overall noise for our guests, especially if you are a light sleeper.

We appreciate your feedback and we are always looking for opportunities to improve upon the guest experience here. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel. If you are so inclined to return, please contact me directly and I will give you a complimentary upgrade to our business level for the standard room rate so that you can try it out!

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks again and have a GREAT day!

Our family stayed the night here in one of their suites with a gift certificate we received. The walk in shower was spacious, the king size bed was beyond comfortable, and the little amenities, like the fact the refrigerator was already cold, and the great soaps, lotions were wonderful. Their pool and hot tub were just the right temperature, and in a lovely atmosphere.
Customer service, from check in to check out was staffed by highly qualified and helpful employees.
We were upgraded to the delicious, well appointed continental breakfast.
We very much enjoyed our short stay, we’ll be back again.

I won a 2 night stay in a suite here at a fundraiser auction and we decided to use our certificate over Labor Day long weekend. Because this was a hotel comp, I was expecting there to be black out dates especially on holiday weekends, but I'm happy to say there wasn't. When I went to make the reservation I was told that as long as a room was available, we could come whenever we wanted... so Labor Day it was. We were given a suite on the first floor. The room had a mini kitchenette with fridge and microwave (but no dishes or silverware which I found strange), a living room with a leather couch and big screen TV, and a patio. Separating that section via a sliding door was a king sized bed (very comfortable and lots of pillows!) with another large TV, and a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and huge shower. Upon check in, we noticed the light above the whirlpool was flickering and the light above the toilet was burned out. A quick call down to the front desk and a maintenance person was at our room with replacements within 10 - 15 minutes. I was impressed with how quickly they responded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and loved everything about the hotel. They have a nice indoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs which I took advantage of. All the staff we encountered were friendly and easygoing. I especially loved the fact they have a coffee machine at the front desk that makes fancy coffees and hot chocolate all free of charge. The onsite restaurant Hudson's is highly recommended as well. We dined here and loved the experience and food (but that's a separate review). The hotel is in a strange location (in the middle of a business park next to a busy freeway) but they do a great job of making you forget that with all of their tall trees for privacy and the large wooden logs that make up the lodge. There is a nice sitting area right outside the front doors. At one point we went to sit out there and my hubby thought he was going to be kind of turned off by it because it overlooks the parking lot but thanks to some beautiful greenery and a koi fish pond it turned out to be very relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is within walking distance of the Vancouver Mall which has a movie theater and there are many other restaurants around the hotel's vicinity which is a nice plus. We are local to the area and even though we just live across town, we checked out of the hotel feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

I stayed at the Heathman one night in July. From the photos and in person, it looks like a mountain lodge. It looks a little out of place in neighborhood of office buildings near the mall. The decor is hunting lodge eclectic. There are portraits of famous 19th century Americans such as William Cody and Geronimo. The hallways play recorded bird songs. There are lots of large timbers. The room was clean and comfortable. I found a few miles away where I was able to run.
