This B&B is located in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. The beautiful Forsyth park is just about 3 minutes walking while the grand Cathedral of st john the baptist is less then 10 minutes away. We have 6 people in our group( including 2 seniors and 2 teens) and were arranged to occupy the entire 3-floor Jasper house. The house itself is spacious and pretty well maintained. The beds are SUPER comfortable. Staff there are polite and helpful. Overall, the staying was a very pleasant experience. We'll definite stay there for our next trip back to Savannah.

The overall experience was fantastic. The room was comfortable, clean and inviting, not at all like the coldness of a boilerplate hotel room. My husband is extremely hard to please and I was worried taking a chance on an "Internet " accommodation. But he was genuinely pleased and said he would stay here again. The breakfast was made to order from a very reasonable menu selection, great coffee! The afternoon tea with the chef's special treat was a delight as was the milk and fresh baked cookies in the evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The Savannah is comprised of approximately 6 large townhouses joined together either internally or through the courtyard. Many rooms have easy access to the street through the original townhouse doors. Our room, the Master Suite, had a recently renovated bathroom with a large shower and a makeup table at one end, and toilet and vanity at the other. It had a private balcony overlooking the courtyard. It was very quiet. Each room is different, with a different personality, and different access. Our room for example was up a long flight of narrow stairs that may be difficult for some. But there are many ground floor rooms. Our room was conveniently located over the dining room, but that had a small downside. The smell of cooking bacon drifted up into the room, and there was some early morning noise from the kitchen. Neither was objectionable. The room had central air conditioning with a thermostat. This provided AC that was nearly silent and draft free, unlike many hotel rooms with separate AC units. Breakfast was limited in selection, but good. My only complaint is thet they ran out of coffee mugs early and we had to use paper cups. For us, parking was not a problem. Parking is free overnight from 5:00pm to 8:00am. The hotel pays the meters from 8:00am until 11:00am. Only if you are planning an extended stay and want to leave your car all day is parking less convenient than other hotels. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is pleasant, quiet and safe. You shouldn't have to worry about the security of your car overnight.
The sign outside the main entrance is very small, so as to not interfere with the historical nature of the neighborhood. That makes it a little difficult to find. We had to follow the house numbers until was found the entrance.
We would definitely stay here again on future visits to Savanna.

Room Tip: Guests with mobility concerns should discuss room options before making a reservation
