A must visit when in Savanah. The room we ate in was cozy and the service excellent. Louie or server that night was very helpful offering suggestions as needed. The Flounder is a house special that lived up to its many favorable comments. The pecan pie dessert was delicious.

This was the very first place we stopped after arriving from the airport. We had a lovely lunch, all the food was delicious, and the staff was incredible. Would definitely recommend!

Large downtown famous restaurant. Extensive southern/continental menu. Overall, very good food. Usually crowded in the evening; reservations recommended. Expensive.

The food and service are 5 star in every way ... yet still convey a laid back Southern charm! Highly recommend the She-Crab Soup, and starting with drinks and music in the basement Tavern. I had the seared perch - excellent.

This is the oldest house in Savannah and supposedly haunted. We had a great meal with a great waitress who answered our every question about possible ghosts and we were eating in the basement. We were seated in a small room that we had all to ourselves and were told had been recently discovered behind a brick wall. The atmosphere is wonderful. They have live entertainment that is a lot of fun. Get there early. The basement fills quickly and empties slowly. I have also eaten upstairs and the setting is beautiful but if you want atmosphere and a possible interaction with the ghosts of the house, definitely head for the basement.
