We recently stopped at the Rusty Scupper for a late lunch after some sightseeing at the Inner Harbor. We chose to eat here primarily because of the proximity to the Water Taxi. There was a midday gap in the schedule, so we stopped in for a light lunch while we waited. We were seated immediately at a table right by the window on this mid-afternoon in late December. We enjoyed the cream of crab soup and the Ceasar salad with shrimp. It was pleasant to overlook the harbor activity while we dined. This seemed like the kind of place that could get very busy during high season, but our experience was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Beautiful location overlooking Baltimore’s inner Harbor. The staff were amazing so very helpful and accommodating for all of our needs. We hosted a group of about 35 and everything went according to plan. The food was exceptional. There were four courses of soup, salad, fish, chicken, beef, desserts, The bartender was funny and kept everyone’s spirits! Dazzling, what more can be said about the beautiful lights on the Inner Harbor. I would definitely choose this venue again for a special occasion.

We took a group of 20+ people this past summer for a work related function. We had called ahead and made arrangements on seating and payment, each person was responsible for their own bill. Ahead of time we were told this was no problem. Upon arrival they seated almost 20 people at a single long narrow table, not what we requested. At the end, the company paid the SINGLE bill to avoid complications. We were told it was not possible to split up despite having been told before hand it was ok. Any inexpensive diner can handle that with ease. Truly disappointed, will never return. The food was not even that great.

The restaurant was a little noisy due to a holiday party at the bar, but other than that it was great dining experience. The food was fantastic and our waiter was awesome. Instead of butter to slather on your bread, they serve a cheese spread. It was phenomenal and I asked for seconds.
