Very clean and safe. Great area. Within 5-10 minute walk of everything you need and want to do in inner harbor and tells point. Next door to little italy for great food. Attached to great gym, parking garage directly across the street.

The location was fabulous! Clean and fresh. The hotel shared a health and fitness club, with over the top amenities. All staff was eager to please. The rooms seemed a little narrower than most Hiltons. Seemed to be a battle of the doors(entrance/bathroom and closet), one needs to be closed to open another.

Hilton Garden Inns rarely surprise and that is usually a good thing. The Garden Inn Inner Harbor had all that I expect, a couple of small minuses and one truly major plus. Expected: clean spacious room, excellent desk and workspace with an adjustable chair, comfy bed (although I don't like full bedspreads), and lots of plugs for the road warrior business traveler! Even enough for a family sharing the room. The bath was up to the usual excellent Garden Inn standard with super water pressure. Minor minuses: the mirrored closet door was rickety and hard to close and the bath had odd French doors that prevented me from opening the room door if I didn't position them just right (or closed). Now, the major plus: from the second floor, you can enter a truly world class gym and can use it at no cost. Its a public gym, but available to hotel guests and it is huge. Weights, a pool and lots of machines of all kinds. Very well maintained and with friendly staff, it's a real plus for the hotel (and its sibling Homewood Suites which also shares a lobby with the Garden Inn). Great location too -- right in Harbor East and a short walk from Fells Point so you get easy access to Baltimore old and new. Not far from the Inner Harbor and the ballparks too. The Homewood might be a better deal, because you get the location and gym, along with breakfast and happy hour included at a similar price point. Look at both (as well as the other solid brands in the area) if Baltimore near the harbor is in your plans.

Room Tip: Wifi is free for Hilton Honors members. There is a charge for most others.

The mattress was so old and saggy we were literally falling to one side. Hair was in the tub and toe nail clippings covered the floor. A requested port a crib had not been cleaned or wiped down and was also broken. Creepy and disgusting.

The clean rooms with a partial view of the Inner Harbor and helpful staff made the stay easy and convenient. Most activities are with in walking distance. And you want to walk with the ridiculous parking policy in effect. The use of your vehicle is penalized by the cost. Otherwise it is an excellent place to stay.
