New facility. Close to town center. Good brewpub a block away. Very close to national cemetery and the battlefield. Average BW breakfast. Free WSJ and local paper. Easy free parking. Attentive front desk. Indoor swimming pool.

Great hotel. Well located. Staff provided service with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The room was clean and nicely appointed. I have stayed in other hotels and was very impressed with this hotel.

Location was great, overseeing battlefield & Soldier's Cemetery, next door to historical museum & Civil War antique shops, as well as brew pub & restaurants. Cant get enough of Civil War history? Stroll in the evening in tree-lined park with intermittent historical plaques & personal stories of those who served.

On the basis of all the reviews it was a no brainer to stay here for the two nights we were in Gettysburg. It is close to eating establishments and close to the battlefield. The hotel is brand new. The breakfast on the third floor was one of the better ones that we have encountered. The ladies working there really make the difference. They are friendly and will engage you in conversation. It has an indoor pool which we did not use.
I have a few mild quibbles with it though. Our room was on the first floor next to the door leading to the parking lot. A lot of early morning noise as people exited to the lot. I would request a room away from this door. The AC unit which is close to the king bed was on the loud side. Our fridge vibrated making it louder then it should have been. It seems that the bean counters think that one elevator is enough when building a new hotel. It is not. People getting to and from their rooms have to share the elevator with the cleaning crew and their carts. This really slows things down. Since the hotel has many seniors staying here that one elevator is important. When it breaks down people who should not be hauling suitcases up and down the stairs will be forced to do so. It worked fine during our stay but as it ages it will break down.
That being said I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall the hotel looks great. The facilities are clean and new. Staff were pleasant. My primary issue was I had to take a cold shower. The water was luke warm at best both in the evening and the next morning. The breakfast was about the same as what you would expect of other hotels. There was no non-stick spray for the waffle maker thus many people were peeling their waffles apart trying to remove them from the machine. I've never been to a similar hotel where the spray wasn't available - so this might help solve that issue. Otherwise, the hotel is very convenient for dining and attractions in the city.
