I had to go back a second time to check whether the Shepherds Pie was really THAT good. It is. This is Irish pub cooking better than you'll find in the Emerald Isle. The Irish chef (I was told) produces an authentic pie of high quality. Hot, well-balanced, substantial and delicious. It get's busy but the service for me was fast both times and anticipatory too. Even if full, they will get your food fast as you need it.

Came upon this pub on a busy Friday night. Found the staff to be friendly and very efficient. Great beer selection. Atmosphere was excellent. Good for friends on a Friday night to meet and share conversation. Had shepherd's ple, which was the best I've had in a long time. Overall, the visit was very good and I would certainly return in the future.

Asked for a Hoegaarden. She gave me a Heinekin. Ok. Both start with H. Asked for a Hendriks G&T. Had to tell her to add a cucumber not a lime. Then the Bangers and Mash came with skinny breakfast sausages. I've been in pubs in Ireland. This wasn't quite that. The mash potatoes were real and we'll made. Not a horrible place but not top shelf either.

Nice Irish Pub. Friendly staff. Had (of coarse) the Fish n Chips. Excellent fish, crispy and moist inside. Huge portion, so my wife and I asked to have them put it on two plates. Chips - well, could be better. They were normal fries, but not that crispy.

This Irish pub is right near the 30th st Station so it's a great way to kill time if you're waiting for a train or are hungry after being on the train all day! I had a cheeseburger which was pretty good. Mom and stepdad enjoyed their meals as well. Great selection of Irish beer on tap.
