We started with a happy hour drink and snacks (happy hour is M-F 5-7), then headed in to dinner. The menu isn't extensive, but it is thoughtful and creative, and includes small plates, soups/salads, and some very nice entrees. The vichyssoise with scallop was a real standout, as was a simple green salad with a light application of a champagne-based dressing. Our entree choices were very good--a carbonara made with guanciale, topped with a poached egg, scallops, a wild mushroom pizza. Several of our group enjoyed cocktails chosen from a great selection of house specialties. There is a full service bar, but one can bring in one's own wine, and there is no corkage fee. Service was great throughout the meal. This is another great Garces restaurant, and one of the best!
