My partner and I stayed here for a night over Valentine's Day weekend. Nothing was too out of the ordinary at first glance, but when we went to go to sleep we noticed our feet just barely hanging off the bed, which seemed odd, given we book a room with a king bed. Overnight, we noticed a weird foam divider in the middle too. When we woke up the next morning, we went to check under the sheets, and, lo and behold, it was two junior twins stuck together, not a real king bed. When we went to check out the next morning, they apologized but said it should've been mentioned in the listing. We go back to check the listing: not mentioned at all. After going through our credit card to investigate what happened, the hotel refused to "formally apologize" and claimed that they were out of king rooms by the time we checked in. Funny, we actually checked in 15 minutes after check-in opened at 3:15 pm...
Otherwise, it was a pretty mediocre experience: smaller rooms, dubious noise isolation (we woke up to an iPhone chirping from either the upstairs/next door room), and a poor excuse for a continental breakfast (when we got down around 10:30, and they had a selection of overripe bananas, granola bars, and yogurt -- not the "grab bags" they mention in their listing).
Don't be fooled by the Marriot affiliation and Fairfield branding...My partner and I stayed here for a night over Valentine's Day weekend. Don't be fooled by the Marriot affiliation and Fairfield branding -- this hotel isn't worth your time, and certainly not the money they're charging. I suppose the location is good though?More
