This is my first time to Philadelphia and this place is very good excellent apartment right in downtown everything thing at walking distance apartment very clean will come again in August
On the plus side, location is great and close to lots of food options, coffee, there’s a target and a CVS a block away in case you forget anything while traveling. The front desk staff who work at the building are very nice. We were in unit 1008 and it has great views. Most of the building is made of cement so the unit is very quiet. Everything is fresh, nice kitchen, clean bathrooms. The bedrooms are small but they’re fine.
The unit was booked with a company called “Stay Alfred” and they were easy to work with.
Some cons to plan for but they are not deal breakers. The first is that they don’t give you enough warm blankets, it’s more like prison rations with the blankets. I had to go buy some at Target. Also the pillows are hard. They don’t give you enough towels or laundry soap if you’re staying more than three days.
One of my kids slept on the sofa but we could not open it to make a bed because it is way too uncomfortable. No human being could ever sleep on that fold out. So if you’re planning on sleeping on the sofa make sure it’s just one person.
This last issue ( my husband did not notice so it probably wasn’t that bad. ) but I was aware of it because we had our three kids with us - the unit shares venting with another unit somewhere in the building where they like to smoke pot. I felt like I was back in college.
For the price, it was a great deal. A lot less expensive than two hotel rooms plus it has a nice little kitchen and everything a small family needs for a good stay. Minus the pot smoking.
this is a wonderful building-great space inside and the rooftop deck was fantastic. The location could not be better with great shopping, restaurants, and museums in walking distance. My only critique is the difficulty in parking in this neighborhood - it would be nice to have suggestions or an arrangement with a garage in proximity.
