Walking in the balmy, sleepy town of Historic St. Mary's, you'll find the Southern white building housing the Riverside Cafe'. Upstairs is an outside porch for dining, gazing out at the river, and seeing the Ferry boat landing. Inside are large windows with lots of sunshine coming through. The menu has a wide assortment of ethnic dishes; Italian, Greek, Seafood, Beef, and lots in-between. We ordered two of the specials, one was Greek stuffed peppers served with pita bread and Feta cheese. The other was Fish and Chips made with FRESH cod and served with a side of coleslaw. This was my selection, and it was a nice size portion of delicious batter-fried fish. My hubby's dish was a large plate of poblano stuffed peppers with sauce, which he quickly devoured in no time at all. I of course, saved room for my Chocolate cheesecake---taking small bites to enjoy the creamy texture and sweetness, after the fish I had filled up on. WE enjoyed the relaxing ambiance and good-natured service by the staff working there. So will you when you come for a visit, and YES its handicapped accessible.
