If you really like a hotel and the staff who give it "personality" and make it come alive, when you arrive, you're already feeling great. And what makes this property special are my friends, the Managers and servers. And while I don't know everyone's name, I always recognize those who consistently contribute to the quality of my stays.
Sylvia Geronimo in the Executive Office always takes my reservation, offers me the best possible rate and insures that any reasonable request is satisfied. And any Front Desk services I might require are always promptly organized and delivered by Juliet Chang and Yoaquina Rollins. And anything to do with my breakfast, lunch or snacks is the domaine of Agathe Texier, the Director of outlets. And as I always have breakfast at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan in their fabulous "Brasserie 1605", all of the servers are simply amazing. And after several years of returning, I even know their names by heart: Ali Rahmat, Tofael Chowdhury, Rahman Mohd, Travis Sherrod, Mahfuz Chowdhury, Tareq Mohammed and Ana Gonzales (hostess). They are now my "Long-lost cousins". They keep an eye on my table for two (I dine alone) and appear as if from nowhere anticipating my every request. And they never ask if I would like an orange juice to start, because they know I prefer not. And they efficiently pour my initial cup of black coffee, because they know I do not take...If you really like a hotel and the staff who give it "personality" and make it come alive, when you arrive, you're already feeling great. So, as I said in my previous review of my residence at the Crowne Plaza Times Square, I always feel appreciated, but now as well loved as a "Member of their Family". And needless to say, I'm already counting the days until I return to New York City in November and rejoin my NYC family. Life is good, especially when I'm at my Home Away from Home, the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan. Amen.More
