The entire staff was very professional and accommating.Leo Linton was especially helpful when he went out of his way to help me with a problem I had with a parking coupon.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor overlooking either the East or West side of Manhattan.

Hotel great and good value . Plumbing issues but sorted efficiently . Did not have breakfast at Hotel ate at Edison Hotel just 5 mins away . Amazing corner room looked out on Times Square and Empire State Building . Thankyou Emily Rodriguez !

Room Tip: Choose corner room and ask for Times Square view - it is amazing but room is quiet. Great night's sleep . Really comfortable bed

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting NY and going to Broadway plays. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and we had a great view of the Hudson River.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a great view of the Hudson River.

I was very fortunate to land a very nice rate at the Crowne Plaza for three nights over President's Day weekend. The room I was in was terrific - well appointed, very large for NYC, great TV, a chaise lounge and an ample-sized bath with nice amenities. I had no issues with noise at all. Hotel staff was very pleasant and non-intrusive. Only small peeve is that the elevators are fairly slow, even though the two elevators banks are split and the elevators themselves are designed to be express It still takes time, especially during peak hours. Do note that there is a charge for wireless Internet. All in all, however, a really superb stay.

If you like to be in the city center, it could be your choice.
Walking distance to Broadway shows and variety of subway lines, within block or half-block away.
I got larger room, but beside elevators, so I could hear the noise - sounds like a wind all the time. Another much worse issue for me, was the unpleasant smell from the kitchen - I could smell fried oil on the whole floor (28 I think) but similar smell I found on other floors - just like you would be living beside kitchen - really didn't like that. Room decor was nice, amenities were fine. I did not have breakfast in my rate, so just used restaurant - quite expensive.
Next time would probably try another hotel in the area, but this one could be an option too.

Room Tip: Rooms beside elevator are loud all day and night long.
