Three of us dined here and ordered drinks, an appetizer (dumplings in chili oil) and two entrees (garlic style chicken and cumin style pork) to share which turned out to be a perfect amount of food for us. Drinks seems a little expensive but probably about average for NYC. The food is rated 1 to 10 on a spiciness scale and you can request it how you want. One of our dishes was a 7 (cumin pork) which turned out to be probably a little spicier than I would have liked and I generally am very tolerant of spicy food. The other was a 3 and was not hot at all. Everything was excellent and you could taste the various spices associated with each dish. Oh and two of our party had a question about the wine they were ordering so the waiter brought out samples -- this was a big plus! The one thing I didn't like was that the service seemed a bit rushed -- the food was coming out at almost the same time as the drinks. All in all we had a nice meal here and the food was excellent.

We went here with a group of women. We shared all of the dishes. Many of the dishes were spicy, too spicy for most. In addition, at some times there is a band playing that is very disruptive to dinner conversation. It is unusual to be at an Asian Restaurant that has music, and to me that was not a positive. So many other restaurants of this type that one could visit in NYC. No reason to go, or to go back, to this restaurant.

Not your typical Chinese restaurant. Huge place. Crowded and noisy - but in a good way. The Dan Dan noodles were worth a try - different and tasty. Chicken with black bean fresh and hot. String beans excellent. Fast and good - not great but very good.

Not your typical Chinese restaurant. Try the dan dan noodles. Great screwdriver made by a knowledgeable bar tender. Very good service. A little noisy. We shared a chicken and a pork dish and both were very tasty.

We had a dinner reservation for 8 pm on a week day night but it was close to 9 pm when they seated us! Then another 20 minutes to take our order. At least the food was tasty and fresh but would rate them low for their poor Management.
