This new restaurant features a variety of alternatives as you build a 4 course prix fixe ($115 at the time I dined there in December, 2015 and again in January, 2016) meal that's a wonderful dining experience. Interspersed with the courses are a number of chef's surprises--all exquisite . The dining room offers views of the kitchen for those who like to watch, or you can ask for seating away from the action. Either way, reservations are highly recommended. The wine list keeps pace with the food, but includes a number of by the glass or bottles of wines that are very good without breaking your bank account, in addition to having very expensive choices for those for whom price is not a factor. The servers are attentive but not pretentious f and offer clear explanations about any unfamiliar dish. The bar area fills quickly with people enjoying both the fine cocktail craftsmanship of the the bartenders and the "bar food" available from the menu in that area. Needless to say, this "bar food" is fine cuisine that pairs perfectly with a drink and good conversation.

I was greeted by gracious hosts and given a wonderful corner table which has become my favorite one. server was helpful and friendly offering suggestions upon suggestions. break is baked in house and butter is home made. Each dish is heavenly. i don't eat meat so i choose only seafood and can only say that its heaven on earth. don't come, RUN to try this place. its pricey but well worth it.

Food, Service and Decor all outstanding. Prix fixe or tasting menu. Gorgeous dining room, flatware as architectural and as well designed as furniture. Service mostly polished and very smooth (some slight confusion that I suspect came from new player/s). Chef's table in kitchen offered but personally love visuals in DR. Nice wine list. Great overall higher end experience. Would go back in a minute. Will go back.

Fixed menu when everything is about "supplement" is a real joke! Honestly, the Michelin star is once again a trap to the NYC visitors!

We ate here for a special occasion in December. We ordered the Chef's Tasting Menu. I think we were told it was going to be about 10 courses, and it was at least 14. And, wow. It was so delicious and inventive. There's a reason GK is on the rise. We enjoyed everything especially the signature sturgeon and caviar tart. GK came out of the kitchen once and walked the floor and we had a chance to meet him. When I praised the food but lamented my inability to finish the tasting, he said, "You cannot say no to the good things." Rolled home having said yes to a few too many good things...
