I enjoyed the huge Saffron Mussels. Girlfriend had Chicken Tagine with Cous Cous. Loved the Ginger Beer Mocktail. Service was good. Nice decor.

Ponty Bistro is an Afro/American restaurant in Harlem. We had breakfast a couple of times and evening meal 3 times.
The seafood linguine dish is particularly good and the breakfast omelettes are amazing.
The owner and Staff are so friendly.
There is a great atmosphere and live music is played on some evenings.
Good selection of beers and wines.
Can't speak highly enough of the Restaurant.

Thank Paul C

This place is amazing! The menu offers a combination of French and Senegalese options, with everything prepared deliciously. The service was fantastic, too. We all ordered different things, and the quality of the food remained consistently high for everyone. I ordered the ratatouille sandwich and loved it; my fiancée ordered eggs Benedict and loved them, my dad ordered fish and loved it.

Dined here last night and were delighted by the French and Senagalese food and smiling, helpful waitress. We ate at the sidewalk cafe part, which is delineated by lovely flowers and other greenery. The menu is far-ranging, with plenty of choices for vegetarians and pescatarians.
Some dishes are clearly French (ex. escargots), but others are Senagalese, which seems sort of North African-Mediterranean. The spices used in these dishes are interesting and delicious, but not "hot." I recommend (among several choices of preparation), the mussels Africana, which show Thai influence with lemongrass and coconut milk. We also very much enjoyed a chicken tagine, a chicken prepared Senagalese style, wings, a salad topped with fresh salmon, and an artichoke and Parmesan salad. Prices are reasonable (below what you'd pay further south in Manhattan. Also, street parking is easy. This is going to be a place we go to often!

We always order in and the delivery arrives very fast and the food is consistently excellent. It can become pricey though.
