This is a tiny restaurant that is easy to miss but if you're looking for good dumplings AND want a quick meal, this is the place. We were in and out in 30 min.!! The broth in the dumplings was very good and our bowl of ramen noodles w/ beef was also well flavored. We went about 5 PM which was perfect - a little later and a line was already starting to form.

We had the pork steamed dumplings, beef ramen soup and stir fried ramen with chicken. Everything was excellent. Good service, food arrived hot and fresh. The beef was very tender as was the chicken.

I was in transit and came across this fairly new place on 8th avenue in NYC serving authentic shanghainese cuisine made with real "kung fu" fresh ingredients. The choices are extensive; steamed buns [soup dumplings-wait for these to cool slightly before biting into one-they are filled with extremely hot liquid] I got the steamed pork buns with crab meat which were very good. There are also kung fu dim sums, handmade dumplings [there is a 20 minute wait-the waitstaff will remind you of this] various chilled dishes, stir fry and stir fry ramen. The space is very small and you will be sitting with strangers unless you bring a group. Prices are reasonable. One caveat: the tip is already added to your bill so do not double tip. I would recommend and return.

This is my favorite noodle and dumpling place but restaurant is small with tiny tables. service is slow but wishing you to leave as soon as possible to allow people waiting in line to sit.

I like the food, price is right, if you wish NY style fast eating this is good option in the area.

I wouldn't travel to eat there but if you are around strongly recommend.

Enjoy

This tiny spot is easy to overlook but we make sure we visit every time we go to NYC. The steamed pork dumplings (buns) are the best I've had and the ramen soups are fresh and full of veggies, protein and noodles. Service is quick and friendly and often you are seated at tables with other parties.
