Hotel is in average condition, slightly run down but a great value. Also great location by Rockefeller Center and other top attractions. Very nice restaurant on terrace with great views. Great hearty American breakfast at reasonable price. Fitness Center is small and barely adequate. I prefer the Club Quarters on Lexington Ave., close by. It's much newer.

Great location to tourist areas, subway free waterbottles with chilled water on every floor. AC in room sucks, had the maintenance man "fix" it still warm went and bought a fan for room, thus would not recommend staying here in warm months. Room is small but it's NYC, real estate is s premium and basically your just sleeping here.
There is a balcony bar/ restaurant, but was a bit pricey, breakfast buffet $19 per person. There are 2 shops close by that are reasonable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner when you want to save $ or need something fast, Teresa's is the name of one breakfast burritos, bagels, other food pizza, sandwiches, and delicious salads, coffee, and fruit. Same type food at other place but a few extra options like steamed vegetables and baked fish chicken.
There is a 24 hour pharmacy/ walgreens type store very close. The hotel does put a 40.00 per day charge on a credit card per every day you stay which is I guess is to protect them , but I always pay as I go...whatever..
NYC is GREAT...very safe, no worries.. people here are so helpfull and patient...i an not being sarcastic I love NYC!

This was a very nice hotel. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I love having a Keurig in the room for coffee. Would stay there again Great little hotel

We stayed in NY in 2 different hotels and CQ opposite Rockefeller Centre was one of them. We really enjoyed the stay. This hotel is located in close approximate to almost everything. Its a great value for money, clean with all-you-need amenities. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially that you can really go wrong with hotels in NY (as we did with the second one we stayed at)

Room tip: any room seems to be really nice as well equiped
