Had the non-pizza sauce recipe and enjoyed it. If in the area, you should go here!! Very reasonably priced, easy to get in and fine service.

STUMBLED upon John's Pizza on our way to Hello Dolly! What a Stumble! Wound up taking a seat at the bar since the dining room was packed! AMAZING service to get us to play on time and WONDERFUL baked ZITI!!! The food was very INEXPENSIVE for the Quality. My lunch in the foodcourt at GrandCentral was more than my dinner at John's! So it's "nicer" than a CHEAP EATS place for sure, but it sure was great food at a CHEAP price for NYC Broadway. Felt like I was a local, not a tourist!

Went here on a recommendation. Very good brick over pizza. Check the size before ordering. My wife and I split a small one.

Went here after reading good reviews about the gluten free pizzas. Was a little surprised at the size of the place as the pictures make it look quite intimate, it is NOT! Even though it was busy, we didn't have wait long and we had good service. The pizzas were nice, the gluten free only comes in a 10" but that's still enough if you're not sharing it. Lots of parties and large groups so does get loud but it's a good atmosphere.
