A client suggested we have dinner at this neighborhood restaurant, had passed it many times
but never went in....what a very pleasant surprise.
Well decorated, staff very attentive and the manager Jimmy can only be described as
"An old style host with a smile, a warm way about him and a great conversationalist- a funny guy"
Now to to the serious part, the food is delicious, well prepared and well presented.
As the other reviewers mentioned the portions are large & so 3 main dishes should cover 4 healthy adult appitites....remember you can always order more.
Prices are fair for the portion size.
Will definatly become a regular.

Was wandering the streets with the kids trying to find a place that would check all the boxes - decent enough for the missus to want to visit and food the kids would like. Saw this place and decided to venture it... that was a good decision. The owner is really friendly and even though we were all dressed like tourists who had been walking around all day (which we had) he was very welcoming. It's a bit of an upmarket place in that sense and loads of suits sitting around having their evening meetings. We were served promptly and the food selection/taste was given the 4 thumbs up by our very picky kids. All in a all a good evening...

A fantastic meal and very friendly. The portions are large and the food delicious. 2 adults and 2 teenagers (who eat like adults!) 3 dishes with rice was plenty. The price for what we ordered was fine.

We just happened to come upon this restaurant late after a Broadway show and the owner kept the kitchen open a few more minutes while we ordered. I don't care too much for Chinese food, but this was great! We ordered two main dishes, fried rice, double order of dumplings and three desserts. no alcohol this time. the bill was like $115, pricey? slightly, but the food is worth it!
he warned us that our dishes were going to be spicy, but they were not at all, so that is my only complaint. I think he looked at us 4 white girls and decided we were whimpy, which we are not so we had to use hot oil sauce.
the owner is super nice and loves what he does. we will go again when in new York!

We ate here last week and brought our one year old with. They put us in a private room which was probably more for their sake than ours haha! But we still really appreciated that. They brought out food for her promptly. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The chicken I got was perfectly cooked. It was crispy, flavorful, and amazing. I wish we had a fridge at our hotel so I could have taken the leftovers.

It was a bit pricey, but the portions were huge, so was worth it. It had a very nice ambiance and my daughter loved the pistachio gelato at the end too.
