You know when something is good you keep going back time and time again? Unfortunately I no longer live in NY so I can only come here when I visit and I never miss a chance to eat here. ALL of the food is delicious. From fish, to chicken, to pasta to pizza. The pizza is to die for! Great Baked Clams, Lasagna, Chicken dishes, Fish plates. Went with my family and we were treated like royalty - in fact everyone is! They make you feel like family here. Scott and Lisa run this place just like their dad did and I am sure he is so proud of them both. Piano bar with singers! So live entertainment while you enjoy your meal...need I say more? Why are you reading this and not enjoying the great Italian food and pizza??

This is one of the must-go places for a real and good pizza. Slightly charred, thin-crust, excellent red sauce and mozzarella. Whatever your add-ons are, it changes the character and the taste. For example, if you order a mushroom pizza and a anchovy one, even the red sauce & cheese combo tastes differently. The service and the whole atmosphere is informal and pleasantly rough around the edges, the art on the walls is as natural and fluffy as the pizza dough. A classic and it should remain that. A small pizza is a plenty of food for one person.

Mama Mia what a great Red Clam Sauce with Linguini and the Veal Parmigiana was definitely a 10. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. You can be sure you will always leave with a smile on your face. Pizza is a must also.

What a great find in NYC! The food and service were excellent, a real local type of restaurant with wonderful entertainment, including Jimmy, our signing waiter. Lisa is the hostess with the mostest! A most enjoyable evening and we look forward to our next visit.

Arturo's is one of those neighborhood gems that used to be all around NYC but are dying with the owners and being replaced by flashy trendy food places that have short runs. It a family owned, neighborhood fixture. Which happens to serve the best pizza in town. Accompanied by fun jazz, great atmosphere and a friendly bar.

There's a full Italian menu but we go for the Coal fired pizza. In fact weve been going fir the pizza fir 35+years and it gas been consistiently great. Nothing like it anywhere.

From the first bite of the crispy, thin crust, Neopolitan style, savory pies you know you've found heaven. No oven cooks pizza, like a coal oven. This is one of only a few left any where. All ingredients are fresh, bright in balance and not overstated. There's jazz most nights, the service is friendly and efficient.
The place is dripping with atmosphere and neighborhood warmth. It's not just the pizza but a real NYC dining experience.
Can't say enough good about the pizza so try for your self.
Enjoy!
