This has to be one of the best bars in Manhattan, based in East village. It is small and specialises in cocktails containing Amaros. It does not do food, but the quality of the drinks makes up for that. Sother was behind the bar and he is passionate about spreading the word on Amaros/bitters. He was very interesting to talk to and offer advice on drinks and even shared recipes. A bonus is it opens 1 hour before most bars in the area, get there early (it opens at 17:00) and grab a seat at the bar, later on the seats are removed to make room for more people, this is a small bar. For any cocktail enthusiast this has to be at the top of the list for a New York visit.
