Knicks lost, but still a great family experience. Wonderful facility and so easy to get to! Much better and easier than I anticipated.

We visited whilst Westminster KC show was on, having got used to NYC prices we were shocked at the prices they were charging for coffee and snacks. We went out to eat and drink the second day we were there, much nicer and far cheaper.
The atmopshere in the main arena was electric, but the show in the theatre seemed not to be attached to the main show.

We went to see a New York Knicks game in February 2012. The game was electric! The atmosphere was brilliant and the venue was really good.
The tickets to the game were expensive at 175 dollars each through Ticketmaster, but as the game was a sell out we were lucky to get tickets!
As a family of sports fans, this was a 'must-do' whilst visiting New York on a weekend break and it did not disappoint!

The Garden is know for its history and the first of its kind. It was great to see a game at the Garden. However, for an NHL arena, it is getting left in the dark. Pittsburgh, Chicago, Philadelphia, Columbus and the other modern hockey stadium are so superior in lighting, layout, and media that the likes of arenas like Madison Square Garden and the Joe Louis Arena will either make major upgrades or they will end up like the Pittsburgh Mellon Arena.
