Tiny beds, cold rooms and drawy windows - pretty much what can be expected for the price in Manhattan. To be honest this pretty much what I would qualify as a hell hole, but at least they're not pretending to be anything else. On a positive note, they do have hot water and the room was somewhat clean. If the price is your main cocern you could probably do worse.

This place is a joke!!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw the TripAdvisor owl sticker in the lobby window!! I’m not kidding when I say it was filthy... the ‘spare’ blankets had BIG chunking holes missing out of them... the halls reeked of cigarettes even though ‘no smoking’ signs are posted everywhere!!! The sheer curtains were torn in half on one window, the drapes hanging off their racks... one roll of toilet paper the whole stay and no maid service what so eversome kind of ooozzzie stuff on the walls and hair and other ‘things’ from the previous guests in the bathroom...no extras (travel shampoo, conditioner...), no microwave...no coffee maker....

You get what you pay for. So much cheaper than every where we looked at. 2 night stay with no problems. Was it spotless? No. Were there bugs? No. Hot water? Yes. Street noise? Yes. Easy walking distance of subway and 1000 restaurants. Walked around the area at all hours, never felt unsafe. The bed is very comfortable!

This hotel is less than half the price of anything near by and good for our stay.
We stayed for one night and the staff is great, polite And helpful. They offer toiletries, including tooth brushes. There's a metro station a block away.
I see the review for people complaining about beg bugs and cigarette, but we didn't observe any of them.

Room Tip: Best price for the sleep over in New York!
