It’s not really used by tourists but despite this location very useful. Short way to subway, World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial as well as to battery park.
The staff is very helpful, awesome team. Only the digital key needs to be improved.

This is truly a 5 star hotel in every way . The location excellent rooms are good and staff outstanding. Only criticism was that the Miramar restaurant was recommended by concierge it was awful poor service awful food and dirty rest room . I know this has nothing to do with the Conrad but they should not recommend it to guests.

This hotel sets the standard for a amazing hotel experience. This is why I'm a diamond member of Hilton Honors. The staff is always courteous. Their slogan of "The luxury of being yourself" actually matches the experience. I stay at a lot of Hiltons, and this one is head and shoulders above the rest.

I always stay in mid town or Times Square area. But this trip to Manhattan, I tried the Conrad across from the new World Trade Center. What a great surprise, to be in Manhattan but feel like you are in the suburb. It is the right hotel for families with young kids. This area of Manhattan is less claustrophobic. There is a sense of openness to it. Most of the rooms are suites and they are quite spacious and are cost efficient. We had three rooms next to each other and it felt like a large apt. From the bell service to the house keeping, most of the staff are very diversified. I was surprised that the bell man actually can speak cantonese. The housekeeping staff are all very international, there will always be one staff who can speak your language. This whole area has reborn, a decade after 911. The mall across from our hotel offers everything. The food court on the second story has so many interesting eateries including a Bagel Noir place. Everything is connected...you just have to walk forward in the mall and you will find the subway. I was also quite amazed that there is a movie theatre in the same building upstairs in my hotel. I was able to catch a late show one night. In the back entrance of the hotel, there is a nice alleyway with a few interesting restaurants that open quite late, including an Asian Fusion place. There is also a Shake Shack Burger a few doors down. One evening I took a walk on the waterfront, which is a block from our hotel. What a treat it was to see a nice sunset and the rainbow lights of Jersey buildings reflected on the
river water. The only set back is there is no swimming pool...The restaurant in the lobby offers nice buffet breakfast. Their a la cart dishes are up to par for a five star hotel. I particularly like the egg white with lobster dish. There is a Whole Food about ten minutes walk from the hotel and we went there to buy groceries for our room. I had always stayed in hotels near Times Square or in mid-town and the Conrad downtown has offered me a lovely alternative.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the south has more light. You face the shopping mall entrance and you can see part of the sky.

This hotel located in Battery Park City in lower Manhattan is stunning. The 2nd floor lobby atrium is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are all suites and beautifully appointed. There is a separate bathroom and separate rain shower room. While the Conrad is not inexpensive, for New York City it's fairly reasonable.
