The first morning in NYC we found this place for breakfast. Lightning-fast service, great value and the food - well, let's just say the lox and onion omelette with a bialy satisfied this Jersey Girl transplant to the Midwest's craving for NY soul food. It was so good we went back the next day. Their breakfast sandwich was melt in your mouth. Home fries hit the spot. Coffee is great. The menu is huge. This is a diner as a diner should be. FYI - both days breakfast for two including entrees, OJ and bottomless coffee came in under $30 including tax and tip.

We were hungry and tired and found the dinner infront of us so we went in. It looked clean with a bright interior. The menu was over flowing but many of the items were repeats under different names or with different garnishes.
The food amount was huge. It was all edible but nothing particularly good. The soups were tasteless so i suggest you avoid them.
I probably wouldn't go there again because it wasn't special. The service was not friendly or welcoming but also wasn't hostile.

We dropped in here early one morning for breakfast.
The staff are friendly and the food great, breakfast was cooked to perfection, delivered very quickly. The atmosphere was good as well, and a good mix of local workers and visitors.
If you are looking for good food and good value this is the place.

We had a couple of overpriced breakfasts ($60 for 3 people) before we found this place. In the Olympic Flame we had a friendly welcome, very quick service, and freshly cooked food every day and all for between $30 - $40.
We tried the omelettes, wraps, waffles, egg and bacon sandwiches etc and found everything to be delicious. The speed of service was second to none, and our tea/coffee cups were never allowed to empty. We had iced water the moment we sat down and very friendly but unobtrusive waiting staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.
