Great location near Times Square - staff could not do enough - great facilities. Food really good - could not find fault and when come back to New York will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 18th floor - good views - you could always request ahigher floor (goes up to 32)

traveled with teenage son for half term, very good flights to start with with Delta despite having read bad reviews, plenty of room, food was ok and huge choice of films. Hotel was in a good location convenient for shops bars and places to eat, also near Broadway, check in was fast and efficent and although we emailed the hotel weeks before our stay and asked for a room with a view we were on the 13th floor overlooking the car park above the bus station. Rooms were not ideal for sharing with a teenager as you have no privacy and even the bathroom has a glass door, the room was well equiped and clean and although there were cooking facilities there was nowhere to sit and eat. the complimentary breakfast was adequate with cereal pastries and hot choice of egg and bacon or ham, however trying to get a seat to eat it proved difficult at times. staff at the hotel were helpful and informative, do be warned the wait for lifts at peak times can be trying to say the least. Do take advantage of the complimentary facilities mean you can travel light and you dont have to bring lots of washing home. the evening reception Tues Wed and Thur is worth a visit, having spoken to some people we were advised that the rooms in general in New York are small so the rooms here do offer more space. Would stay there again. if doing bus trip use the gray line buses as we used new your city tours and they were a much inferior service. Be warned New York is huge, take comfortable walking shoes and wrap up well if doing bus trip. We stayed for 5 nights and lots we didnt get to see, but we will go back and book a week on the beach to recover, New York really does not sleep. If you go enjoy and make sure you are not straight back to work afterwards

My Husband and 2 children stayed here either side of a cruise and were really impressed with this hotel. Situated alongside port authority bus & subway station and only 2 blocks to Times Square it is ideally positioned for getting around the city. The service from staff was excellent particularly the concierge who advised us well and the hardworking guys in the lobby who store you luggage in a well organised system. We arrived at 10am and were given a room straight away despite a 1600 check in time.
Our room was great - large in NY terms , immaculate & clean with a studio kitchen inc dishwasher and fridge plus essentials - tea, coffee, creamer, even dishwasher tablets.
Beds were really comfortable, loads of towels, soap shampoo etc in clean modern bathroom.
Breakfast was a great bonus fruits ,yoghurts, breads & pastries, cereals and some hot stuff too.
We didn't use the gym or the free laundry facilities and the mini mart behind reception was stocked with essentials.
The breakfast area was a little busy but there were extra tables in the bar area and extra drinks & toaster in there too. The hotel has free wifi reaching all rooms and computers & printer in the lobby for printing boarding passes etc.
I believe there is a complimentary drinks & snacks reception on weekdays.
We stayed on the top (32nd) and 31st floors and had no problem with the lifts.
We loved New York and are already planning a second trip.We will be booking this hotel without hesitation.

Room Tip: Ask for room on back if you want view of empire state building.

and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great. Staff was great overall, except for the desk clerk who was less than helpful at check in. We were happy with our stay. We were impressed with the complimentary amenities, such as laundry and internet, as well.

Room Tip: Elevators are slow and fill up fast during mornings.

The hotel is nice and new and the rooms are quiet and well furnished.
The A/C and heating is oldfashioned and loud.

Service is lousy, receptionist was not friendly, was sent to a room for disabled people, ugly and the fridge was right new to the bed and made a lot of noise. When I complained and asked for another, nicer room the receptionist treated me like a complete moron. Took me 1 hour to get a nicer room. This room was okay.

Breakfast is good, free and really busy. Could not check out because I had to wait 35 minutes to get down to the lobby with an elevator. Walking was no options with two suitcases. Only 3 elevators, really long waiting times, as everyone takes breakfast up to their rooms because the breakfast room is absolutely too small.

They forgot to clean my room, although I was out all day. When I asked for cleaning this was a problem, again. I was accused of having the "do not disturb" sign out all day and it took them one hour to get a cleaner to my room.

The location is good, off the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Overall the hotel is nice, but I would really not return.
