I’m a teacher spending my break escorting students to NYC for a Broadway workshop experience. This hotel is in a great location, has comfortable rooms, and other good qualities for a bunch of kids who have never left Georgia.
At check-in instead of being welcomed, I was loudly berated by Ruth because I used booking.com to reserve our rooms. She lectured me for ten minutes for not calling the hotel’s sales department. I needed 6 rooms. The website says to contact the sales department if you need 10+ rooms.
I regularly travel to NYC and this is the ONLY time I have been treated in such a dehumanizing way at a hotel! Next year when planning this field trip I will use Ruth’s lecture and call a sales department, but it won’t be Four Points! More
