Staff were outstanding - Victoria at the desk was helpful, friendly and knowledgable about the hotel and things to do in the area.
Excellent value for hotel location and boutique decor; and comfortable and stylish room.

Staff were great and the lobby was stylish, elevators worked. Room was spacious but we might have got lucky with a corner view. Aircon worked if a little noisy. Decor was tired, worn carpets and bathroom fittings. Service was good but expect to be charged for any little thing eg water not in the minibar $8. During the stay the advertised free bikes, roof bar, spa were not available. On site bar and restaurant were good if a little expensive for the quality offered.

There are “nicer” areas to stay in NY but it means you have to take the subway every time to see the city. This area is super central so if you prefer waking, this hotel is ideal.
Beds are comfy, beddings are clean. Victoria the front desk manager runs it with the personal touch of bed and breakfast and treats her guests w that personal touch. It’s getting harder for to find that kind of service experience these days.
