This is a very good restaurant. I had plain hummus, a totally wonderful tabouleh, ful medames and spiced potatoes. I also ordered baked eggplant with yoghurt and pomeganates, but unfortunately this dish was much too sweet for my taste. Otherwise a fantastic meal. I have also visited the restaurant for lunch and had a very good lamb kofta. Naya Mezze & Grill is very recommendable.

Visited here with foodie friends and found well made foods. Their falafel was crisp and well made as well as the salads. And several other appetizers s. I had an Egyptian specialty moulkahe. A chicken is a sour sauce with rice an d you Nixon’s, as good as I have had. Others had seafood (grilled shrimp) and another fish. Their rice preparation was well done . The had about 5 desserts but most had-rose water additives which I do not like. But their ice cream was tops

Great food. We had a selection of starters and mezze but no main course. This allowed us to try a good variety of dishes. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent with our waiter being very friendly. I loved the decor. It gave the feel of being in a very expensive restaurant but I found the prices very reasonable. Stay away from Time Square and try Naya when in NY!

We were only in NYC for three nights but we chose to have dinner in this restaurant twice in the three days because it was so good !

We were looking for good, light food as we are continuing to fly internationally and did not want the weight of heavy meals causing us discomfort. Naya delivered !

On both occasions, we had a salad (huge serving - more than enough for two) accompanied by a couple of mezzes and that was just the right amount of food for us. I tried the Lebanese red wines and found them to be of good quality.

Service on both occasions was excellent. We walked in without a reservation on the second visit and were immediately and courteously accommodated. The service crew seem to be a young, energetic group who know what they are about and were knowledgeable with food and wine recommendations.

The fit out for the establishment gives it a modern, clean appearance and despite the place being full on the first visit, the noise levels were very good, enabling a normal volume of conversation rather than having to shout over the music or other tables.

We really enjoyed our visits here and would include it on our dining list if we come back to NYC.

We were looking for a light meal in the east midtown neighborhood and saw the menu at Naya. That along with the picture of the very cool, contemporary decor made upper minds. It is a long narrow space with metal and glass clad walls and booths along each wall, each raised above the floor and separated by glass panels. They have an interesting wine list which is predominantly Lebanese wine and some beer but no hard alcohol. The appetizer list had multiple versions of Hummus, the spicy one not overly spicy but delicious and with some kick to it. Babagabouch was tasty but not all that smokey tasting. Falafel was decent but a bit hard and dry. The Broiled Branzino and Grilled Vegetables was excellent, being light and perfectly done. The bread was made in house and a bit on the dry and crumbly side. Prices are a bit on the high side for this type and quality of cuisine, but service was very friendly and efficient. A once place to stop in among the many Greek and Medeteranian restaurants in the neighborhood.
