“Open your mind and enjoy a new experience”

I had a fantastic time at the Guggenheim. I went to this museum not knowing what to expect and had an undeniably extraordinary time. Many of the works are very abstract. I think this can be a big deterrent for some people, but I enjoyed projecting my own emotions and interpretations onto the works. I would highly recommend visiting the museum with an open mind and ready to see something that is not supposed to make sense.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 18 February 2012

Another great NYC experience. We bought the NYC ticket pack so we didn't have to wait in line which was good as we happened to go on Free Admission night. The line was around the block! It was nice to avoid that.
At the time, the main gallery was showing pieces from Lee Ufan's work. Very cool. We quite liked it. We also saw some Kandinskys which was a treat!
Loved the architecture of the building, will definitely go back.

“Nice museum , but to much closed”
Reviewed 17 February 2012

Due to the design of the museum and its winding ramps whenver they change exhibts they need to close a lot of the museum. When we were there about half of the museum was closed - not very impressed, but the Architecture was good

“Great to have seen it!”
Reviewed 4 February 2012

We absolutely loved the Maurizio Cattelan: All exhibition in the grand foyer. It was whimsical, a little frightening, and definitely thought-provoking. It's always best to get to the museum early, as it is incredibly popular.
