Always a pleasure staying here. Staff is professional, friendly and informative. Views are great, especially from the 25th floor! Great location, ample parking and close to many restaurants. The Tequila Bar is nice, lots of seating.

I stayed at the Marriott Marquis and it was just alright, all the restaurants were closed and construction was going on but they still charged me a resort fee where the Grand Hyatt next door waived it for me. The rooms are small but it did have a balcony where I could sit outside. The Marriott made up my mind where I will be staying next time in San Diego and that will be the Manchester Grand Hyatt.

The Marriott Marquis is a beautiful property as it’s located right on the marina in San Diego only a bridge away from Coronado island. This property is located within walking distance to the gaslight area of shops and restaurants. This property needs renovation as it is showing age and definitely needs some refreshing for 2021( see images)

overall was an enjoyable weekend

Well what a surprise. This Marriott is different and not a bland corporate hotel. Modern, light and refreshing it’s a great place to stay. My large and well-appointed bedroom had fantastic views over San Diego Bay with a constant procession of ships arriving and departing.

Stayed here for a few nights on business, it is unlikely I will return. The hotel despite looking modern and up to date is rather old, rooms are dated, also very damp rooms, they could benefit from new ac system. Front desk staff very inconsistent, charge for the business centre to print documents! for the price this should be included. Plenty of options to choose from in San D, look elsewhere.
