“One of the best vistas in San Diego.”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

This is a place you go to for the scenic drive to the monument and the beautiful vistas of the San DIego Harbor from the monument. Great for walking.

“Beautiful drive to even more beautiful views”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

We visit the Cabrillo Monument after spending several days in busy San Diego. It was such a nice break to get in the car and drive the beautiful road in the sunshine. Once you got to the view point you are able to hike around, take pictures, and sit down to take in the views of the water, the monument, and even Mexico. I would highly recommend this for anyone with kids or even by your self. We spent about an hour there and felt like we got in the entire experience. Bring a lunch or pick up a pizza on the way like we did and sit at one of the view points for the best views in all of SD.
