We had made reservations for a hotel in the Gaslamp neighborhood. We figured we would be walking through it quite a bit so when we discovered that there was an area museum and also a tour that started there we had to be on the tour. Definitely worth while in dealing with the history and the architecture of the Gaslamp. The tour concluded with a brief walk through the museum which you could do on your own as well and the cost of entering the museum was covered by the cost of the walking tour ticket.
