The location is very good, in walking distance to the aquarium at the very center of Boston. But that is also the only excellent thing about the hotel. The beds were nice, the room quite small, There were no access to lounge or anything. Would the price have been half as high I would have been happy but with this price you expect something more and there isn't anything like it. A week at a conference, living there, kind of wear you off.

As well noted in other reviews, this fine hotel is excellently located in the heart of downtown Boston, one block from the Waterfront, and a short walk to renowned "must see" spots like Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market , etc. It is also just a few steps from the MBTA train stations, and 10 minutes from Logan Airport.
So we would like to offer three suggestions typically not mentioned in other reviews:
Firstly, sign up for the excellent Hilton Honors program, for which enrolment is free. We have been top tier members since 1990, and we have found that this is one program well worth joining. As one progresses through the membership levels the benefits increase, and include such amenities as free high speed WiFi, room upgrades, complimentary breakfasts, etc. At no charge, this is a No Brainer!
Secondly, splurge and if possible get one of the Renovated King SUPERIOR rooms. These superior rooms are demonstratively, well, superior! To avoid repetition, refer to the web site for a list of all the impressive amenities offered.
Thirdly, as with any intended hotel stay, before your visit, check out the on-line Reviews, and after your visit let the hotel know about what you liked, or would like to see improved. Hilton Boston Downtown is one of those leading establishments that appear to take note of such reviews, and it is pleasing to see that every review is commented on, by their Director of Front Office, Alicia Blanco.
In summary, it is not surprising that they have received a Trip Advisor 2018 Certificate of Excellence, which is a recognition that we always like to see at the hotels we support and prefer to stay at.

We stayed here for 2 nights before a recent cruise. The location is close to everything you might want to see! Our room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You could walk to many sights and shopping as well as restaurants or have food delivered. Definitely recommend!

Overall hotel was nice. Nothing fancy. We paid $365 for one night!! Guess its all about big cities and location! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to. The staff was very friendly and helpful! WiFi was free. There was a Dunkin Doughnut right next store to get breakfast.

We spent two nights at the Hilton Downtown/Faneuil Hall and were very pleased with our stay. We found the room quite comfortable with a really nice shower. The restaurant in the hotel which we had both a lunch and dinner in was quite good.

We were very pleased with the management of the hotel. Sometime after our arrival I received a text message from management inquiring if we found everything satisfactory with our room. I replied that we were quite happy with our accommodations. The next morning my wife told me that she found the tub a little slippery while taking a shower. I sent a text message to the contact I had previously received explaining the issue and inquired whether we could get a bath mat to put in the tub. I received a prompt reply saying that they could absolutely take care of that. When my wife and I returned later that morning we found a bath mat had been brought up and placed in the room.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and as others have stated you cannot beat the location.
