We had a wonderful stay at the Taj and our only disappointment is that we could only stay for one night. We were greeted by a lovely bellman on our arrival and our rental car was whisked off, so that we didn't have to worry about finding parking. The parking is expensive, for sure ($53 overnight, $30 for portion of the day), but it is a big city and it was very convenient to leave it up to the hotel to worry about that aspect of the stay. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating as was the housekeeping staff. Turn-down service was lovely. We ordered room service and the food was delicious, arrived in a reasonable time, and of the appropriate temperature.
The location of the hotel was terrific. We were right near Newbury Street, with shopping galore. Boston Gardens/Boston Commons was right outside the front door. We were able to walk to Prudential Center, the Boston Public Library, Copley Square, The Freedom Trail, and others.More
