Review of SwissBakers

SwissBakers
Ranked #54 of 102 Dessert in Boston
Price range: US$3 - US$20
Cuisines: Swiss, Cafe
Description: No additives or artificial ingredients. All hand made. And we can tell you that each product you buy was baked that morning. Swissbakers began in 1998 in the home of Helene & Thomas Stohr. Helene wanted to bring Swiss food and culture to Boston through fresh pretzels, bread, and pastries. Food should be savored and enjoyed, not used simply as fuel for the body, because of this all swissbakers products are all-natural and made fresh daily. Our food is healthy and light with an emphasis on flavor and simplicity, "our food makes you feel good!" Swissbakers has grown steadily over the years, and now all production takes place in a 14,000 square foot bakery in Allston. This facility allows us to distribute to multiple cafes, farmers markets, wholesale accounts, and catering guests, while maintaining "grandchild sustainability." Everything we do has no impact or a positive impact on the environment.

Almond croissant and breakfast on pretzel roll and Tom mozz on multi grain were all delish!

Will come again

We should go down the street to the breakfast club which is also delicious but is small and there was a huge crowd of people outside so we decided to come here and we were happily surprised.

I’ve been to this place twice so far and will make it a frequent stop. The ham and Swiss croissant was delicious and flaky. The chocolate Berliner was very good as well. Not the best coffee, but maybe it’ll get better? Love the location and the decor.

Delivery driver consistently seen driving above 50 mph on quiet residential streets. Risking the lives of its neighbors and customers.

Located in a former auto dealership, it works beautifully as a bright clean modern upscale euro-cafe. More than ample on-site parking includes two free EV charging points (one for Teslas, another for other EVs). Fresh and natural ingredients are transformed into delicious pastries. Lovely cappuccinos in ceramic mugs unless you prefer takeaway. A warm family welcome awaits customers. Good indoor and outdoor seating includes a toddlers' play area outside. The owners are never far away and their story is inspiring. We're making this a regular stopover during our Boston/Cambridge visit. It's in an area in positive transition on the fringe of the Harvard campus bordering the business school and stadium. Be sure to sample their wares when you're in the area - you won't regret it.

Not my usual spot to stop but I found parking fairly easy and wanted to try this place out. Enjoyed the strong bitter coffee and fresh rolls. May return for another coffee and the pastry display caught my eye. The only thing holding me. Ack were the prices....to expensive for a regular visit...but good and clean
